The Saturday night show of Kansas City Fashion Week (KCFW) brought a new group of designers to the catwalk.
Here’s a quick overview of the show:
- Architexture: This all white show featured mod silhouettes with a twist.
- Katie Lee: Intricate details adorned Katie Lee’s wedding and special occasion gowns.
- Lucia’s Sarto: Flowing silhouettes floated down the runaway in this effortlessly sexy collection.
- Heidi Herrman & Amina Marie Millinery: Kansas City icons were shown in each classically shaped garment, marrying digital technology with traditional designs. Every look was capped off by a complementary hat.
- House of Cochon: The jewelry designer was inspired by mandalas, giving each piece an exotic feel.
- Maria Behnen: Centered around white, navy and silver, Maria Behnen had a clear point of view.
- Tomboy Design: Classic knits were reimagined with new cuts and silhouettes.
- Alicia Janesko Caftans and Resort Wear: With a heavy dose of glamour, this collection had everything from beautiful, hand painted fabrics to feathers. They also had the fiercest, pint-size model. (She is shown below in the chicest turban.)
