I love a good Sephora haul as much (probably more) than the next person. But, there is nothing more gratifying than finding those wonderful drugstore beauty products that don’t break the bank. Today, I’m sharing one new favorite and another I’ve been swearing by for years.
Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser: My grandmother used to use a cold cream to wash her face. Whenever I dip my fingers into this make-up remover, it makes me think of her. I love it, because it is gentle and inexpensive. I’ve tried other eye make-up removers and found them to be more drying and less effective. Simply swipe a little on your eyes and rinse. Your mascara will come off with little effort – keeping the skin around your eyes very happy. Be sure to follow this up with another cleanser for the rest of your face. I like this one.
Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer in Raisin: Several months ago, my mom surprised me with a little treat bag. It had magazines, chocolate, face masks and this lip balm inside. I had a hard time tracking down this particular shade online, but was able to find it here. The color is nicely pigmented and once blotted, looks a bit like a stain. I like how easy it is to apply, particularly when you’re on the go. It adds a nice hit of color to your lips and requires almost no precision.
P.S. Both of these are listed as $7.99.
