Over the last few years, I’ve slowly come to the realization that fall is a lie.
Instead of holing up inside, covered in cozy blankets with cups of cider, I am, instead, flinging myself across Kansas City at a break neck pace. Sure, the activities are fun, but it’s never what I imagine or expect it to be.
Luckily, I’ve found a tool that helps me keep it together – thanks to a sweet client of mine. Google Keep is an electronic hub for all those things floating around in your head. I use it to create lists I can access anywhere or anytime, as long as I have my phone on me. For example:
- Keegan and I share a grocery list, so if we run out of something, one of us can easily add it to the master. Then, the next time I’m at the grocery store, I can quickly see what we’re missing without racking my brain or tracking down some scrap of paper on which I scribbled the note.
- I also love it to plan meals for the week, keep track of Amazon orders and prep for trips.
- Keegan and I also have a shared list where we write down new movies we want to see.
- I have one started with Christmas gifts for myself. (Yep, that’s a thing.)
It saves me (and my brain) a lot. I really can’t recommend it enough.
To sign up, you’ll need to create a Google account, if you don’t already have one. Then, here are instructions on how to use it and add it to your phone.
I’d love to know what are some of your favorite life hacks. What helps you keep it together?
