Many, many years ago, my friend Julee went to Europe on vacation with her husband. While there, she noticed that everyone was wearing Ked-like shoes and birkenstocks. Flash forward about 5 years and now both trends are in full force state-side. (I mean it takes longer than you’d think.)

I’d been wanting to pick up a pair of white tennis shoes to wear with skinny jeans, dresses and shorts, but hadn’t pulled the trigger.

This was incredible dumb for a few reasons:

1. They’re insanely comfortable to wear.
2. They make everything look cooler.
3. They’re not very expensive.
