For the first half of my life, boots weren’t a thing. Sure, little kids had snow boots and there were combat versions in the 90’s, but overall, I don’t really remember seeing a lot of them.

But then, while I was in college, they became a wardrobe essential. I had the same pair of stacked heel boots in red, camel and black, because they were perfect (They were also very cheap and gave me the worst blisters, but at the time, I would never have admitted it.).

Now, my obsession is full blown, and I am a firm believer in having a boot wardrobe. Below, you’ll find both classic (riding boots, tailored ankle boots and causal booties) and on-trend options (otk boots, leopard booties and a pair with a stacked heel) worth adding to your closet.
