On Sunday, Target debuted their capsule collection with Prabal Gurung. Centered around a theme of love, the pieces offer unusual prints, thoughtful seaming and bright, saturated colors. I checked it out in person early Sunday and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of fabrics and attention to fit.

When I initially saw the collection, I didn’t think I’d pick up much. The looks are definitely outside my comfort zone, but I ended up walking away with two great tops and a pair of must-have pumps. (Seriously, these shoes are killer and constructed really well.)

If you aren’t familiar with Prabal, you’ve probably seen his designs on the red carpet. He’s a favorite of celebs, like Jennifer Lawrence, Zoe Saldana and Amanda Seyfreid.  I rounded up some of his famous looks. The photos are via InStyle.
