Have you heard of the book Gone Girl?  A New York Times Bestseller, I had heard about it a while ago and picked up my own copy. The baby isn’t that in to me reading, so I didn’t have a chance to start it until recently. Well, things finally came together over Thanksgiving. With a husband and two grandparents around to watch the baby, I was able to read it. And, I devoured it. In two days.

It is excellent. Haunting and suspenseful, I don’t want to recap much of the story, because I’d hate to ruin the surprise.

Basically, it’s about a couple. On their anniversary, the wife goes missing. Throughout the book, you learn more and more about their relationship. It’s fascinating. Days after finishing it, I’m still thinking about parts of it and turning them over in my mind.
