Have you heard about Jewelmint?
It’s a Web site started by Kate Bosworth and her stylist, Cher Coulter, that offers a small monthly collection of jewels. The styles are unique and in some cases, have a hand-crafted feel. The pieces are showing up on stars, which is not surprising given the quality of the items. I’ve been a Jewelmint member for a little while, but bought a necklace for the first time last month.
Above, you’ll find a photo of the necklace I bought. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by the weight and quality of the item I selected. I’m so happy with the results I’ve picked out something for August.
To gain access, simply visit the site and take a “style quiz.” (I’m a sucker for these things.) Then, each month, you’ll be shown pieces selected for you based on your responses. In addition to the handpicked jewels, you’ll also have access to more styles.
Shipping is free and the cost is $29.95 per item. I’ll give you a little insider’s tip. Towards the end of the month, they usually run a 24-hour sale. I got mine for $14.95. Not too shabby, if you ask me.
UPDATE: I have recently discovered that once you buy a piece, you’re enrolled as a member and will be charged $30 each month. You can skip months and not be charged, if you like. However, you must decide to this by the 5th of each month. I still really like their products, but wanted to be upfront with you about what you’re getting yourself into, since I didn’t know.
