A few weeks ago, I was discussing Fashion Friday with my friend Tara. I told her I was thinking about color as a post topic and rattled off a few other ideas.  She suggested the lace trend for Spring. She’s a very smart girl. 

Our conversation prompted a search of all things lacy on my end. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find many great examples of it in my price range yet.  I have my fingers crossed I’ll come across some in the next few months. While we’re waiting for the trend to trickle down, there are some beautiful designer options to admire and draw inspiration from.  

Looking at these photos I was excited to see options that would be appropriate for work, like the Valentino and Nina Ricci pictures shown above. Typically, lace feels like something for parties or evening, like the Erdem below. If you’re unsure about this trend, keep an eye out for unconventional lace options to bolster your basics.
